T minus 34 days...

Meric and I have been very busy the last few months getting ready to move out of our house and into the trailer. It has been very crazy trying to figure out what to keep and where we will put things. I am thinking that organization will be key in making this whole trailer thing work.
Back in November, we bought a 16 ft cargo trailer to use as a portable storage unit. Slowly we have been adding shelves and cabinets to it to make it more functional. We are just adding the finishing touches of putting hooks and straps to help anchor it while we are driving. (side note: I love Costco, the last time we went we found a couple of items on our list of things to buy for great deals, straps being one of them.) We also got Meric a nice tool box and just put all of his tools in it today. Soon I will be able to start putting some of our storage things in there and out of our way.
We so far have sold the guest bedroom set, some of our exercise equipment, our old TV stand, our DVD players, a desk, some bookcases, and a few other things. Still to get rid of is the living room set, our bedroom set, the refrigerator, washer/dryer, TV and stand, another desk, endtables, and a ton of other stuff. Basically I look around the house and just see all the stuff we still need to get rid of. Oh well, slowly but surely.
When we decided to do the trailer thing I knew we would need to get rid of stuff, but I didn't think about all the stuff we would have to get. It wasn't buy a trailer and you are done, it was buy a trailer and now buy all this stuff. We just got a surge protector and a 50amp extension cord for when we plug in the trailer at campgrounds. We also just got an island for our kitchen area. There are a lot of other little things that we have gotten and a few more yet to get. T minus 34 days...
